Who is the Leona woman?

We are so excited and proud to present several Leona women whose diversity and individualism challenge the way women are often represented. Over the next few months, we will be showing off some of our Leona Ladies in a series of blogs. We hope you love them as much as we do!

Our first Leona Lady that we are featuring is Marielsa Pulido, Vice President of Operations at Sierra Title Company. This energetic and hard-working woman started as a receptionist at Sierra Title and worked her way to the top! She serves on several boards such as Women Together/Mujeres Unidas, Comfort House and The Rio Grande Valley Builders Association. When this Leona lady isn’t working, volunteering, or with her two daughters, she’s on a Harley with her husband (and high school sweetheart), Carlos Pulido. Marielsa says when it comes to jewelry, more is more!

We love a good work dress and trust us, this isn’t your regular 9 to 5 outfit. The feminine neck bow really updates this classic blue sheath and keeps Marielsa looking polished meeting after meeting.

When it comes to accessorizing, we followed Marielsa’s “more is more” belief and stacked several of our favorite Kinsley Armelle bracelets to create an eye catching arm party!

In a rush and have no time to change for dinner? Not to worry! Our ivory bow accent handbag has a strap for all day use and can be removed to be used as a clutch for GNO (girl’s night out).

Casual Chic

Nothing says “Spring is here” more than a crisp white top paired with a pop of color!!

Our Savoy top is a spring must have with its criss cross neck and open shoulders.

To keep this look casual yet still chic, Marielsa wears the white blouse with our Dear John step hem denim which we will be wearing all season long!

With yellow accessories Marielsa is looking like sunshine! These straw statement earrings and round yellow handbag are fun and unique so you’ll have everyone around you feeling like it’s a warm spring day.

Fresh pick of florals

Spring is in the air and that means we have florals on our mind! So what better way to incorporate spring than by adding a large floral print top to your closet. The pink and blue flowers look sophisticated and fresh.

Who doesn’t love a good pair of bootcut denim? These Dear John dark wash denim are going to be a staple in your closet this season (well actually year round). They have such a nice stretch and fit just like a glove and don’t get saggy. Perfect for business casual Fridays!

No look is complete without a handbag! Casual Fridays mean the weekend has arrived so we chose the perfect handbag in the most beautiful shade of pink to complement and complete our floral look.
